Los Angeles, CA, April 24, 2006 --- Leonard S. Marks, M.D., Medical Director of USRF, was named Clinical Professor in the Department of Urology at UCLA School of Medicine. The academic promotion was announced in a letter from Jean B. DeKernion, M.D., Chairman of the Department and Associate Dean of the Medical School. In his letter Dr. deKernion called Dr. Marks “…extraordinarily productive in research and very deserving of this honor.” Dr. Marks completed urology specialty training at UCLA and afterward served as Instructor, Assistant Clinical Professor, and Associate Clinical Professor prior to the advancement to full clinical professorship. USRF was founded by Dr. Marks, who continues as Medical Director, in 1992. |
